Today was rough. I logged in for my lunch break and dug a bit. Of course, Verros and Spei were there, as was Charlotte in mumble, and I didn't want to leave. But work called me away.

I tried logging in at 6pm and the server was down. I tell you, it is fascinating that all of us still hung out on the mumble channel. A few sought out other games we could play together, some played single-player, and we all stayed for... well, I was there for the camaraderie. Even without our servers, we were still a community. Friends. Killing time until the servers came back up. The internet equivalent of huddling around the fire, as someone in mumble typed. It made me feel… wonderful. Although, it would have been better if the servers were up.

Once again, the sense of community and being among friends and good people (for the most part) is what kept me up into the wee hours of the 25th. Atlass, btree, Howed, and a new name for me, Monsterman.

Which is what provoked me to finally create this site. Dedicated to the home and family of friends I’ve found.

This is a picture of Verros, hard at work at dome5. It's too bad you can't see his nametag, but his distinctive skin, this one in black and white, is one we all know and love. Although I still prefer the blue and black, although that’s primarily because I love blue.
