I first spawned into the nerd creative server on July 23, 2011. I’m not sure what provoked me to try Minecraft
online, but I’m really glad I did. I tried one server first, but it was unfriendly and boring - both the people and
the builds. I wanted epic! Nerd creative was the second, and I’ve never really felt the urge to seek a third server.
Nerd creative was, is, and forever shall be a most epic server. Friendly people, excellent builds, community projects…
You name it. I was in heaven.
I looked around and watched the text chatter to learn what was going on in general and how the whole thing worked. When
another user advertized free land, I had to take it. After sightseeing so many great builds, I felt the creative juices flowing.
I wanted to build! My first house was a bit… derpy (funny because it was in Derp harbor), so I tore it down and tried
again.
The best part was
the mayor, Nolan, was pretty cool. I also made friends with Tim, who helped me build both houses. It was so cool when a perfect
stranger, but my neighbor in Derp harbor, offered to help me put in the flooring, the walls, and a bit of the roof.
I went wandering
again after that, and found some cool things:
This one turned
out to be Atlass’ Hall (as I call it). I later met him and we’ve become pretty good friends, I think.
